Robert Lewandowski’s transfer is one of the biggest transfers of the summer of 2022 and EA Sports has a special category for such events in FIFA Ultimate Team.
FIFA 23 is getting closer and closer. For the release of the last FIFA title of its kind, the Ones to Watch (OTW) in Ultimate Team mode are still expected. These special cards focus mainly on top players who have changed clubs between seasons. This also includes prominent names from the Bundesliga.
When will the OTW promo start in FIFA 23?
EA Sports already announced that the Ones to Watch cards will be released with official FIFA 23 release on September 30.
What are OTW cards?
OTW cards are dynamic special cards that are available with the same stats as their gold cards at the start of FIFA Ultimate Team. However, they can increase in value as the season progresses. This usually happens when the respective player receives an upgrade in the Team of the Week: Then the values of the OTW version are also taken over one-to-one.
Which players can be considered as OTW?
As of this week it is certain: Robert Lewandowski will play for FC Barcelona with immediate effect. The top striker is leaving FC Bayern Munich for a transfer fee of 45 million euros. Besides the world footballer from Poland, who is a clear candidate for the Ones to Watch in FIFA 23, there are also many other players who could receive such a card in EA Sports’ new title. Last year, there were 29 OTW cards, including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Meanwhile, we go into eleven top favourites for the new edition.
